Design studies / Work in development

What if?

Conceptual projects in development.
Bold interpretations of an idea, explored through architecture.

These projects begin with a question: what happens when an everyday object, a local craft or a familiar cultural reference is pushed to the scale of a building? The starting point might be an espresso machine, the folds of a garment or the structure of a flower. I use that idea to explore form, material and the relationship with a place.

I developed this collection using two custom skills in ChatGPT and Claude, then expanded the ideas in Weave. The skills help turn the initial thought into a design direction and a visual brief. Weave gives me a way to develop that direction through images and variations, looking at how the same idea changes across different settings and building types.

This is a working collection: a place to keep the questions, compare possibilities and identify projects to take further. The images are AI-generated concept studies; their spatial, structural and environmental ideas remain part of the design exploration.
