I used Astra to turn existing workflow material into PDF guides and short tutorial videos. Two ways of making the process easier to follow.

The workflows were already there. This project is about explaining them: pulling out the sequence, showing the inputs and making the next step clear.

Start with the material
Existing instructions and visual examples set out what each workflow does, what it needs and what comes back.

Astra turned that material into one-page PDF guides, with the main steps and examples in one place.

Show the sequence
Astra also created short tutorial videos that present the workflow as a sequence of visual steps.
Astra’s role
The PDF guides and tutorial videos were created from existing workflow material. The underlying workflows are the subject of the tutorials.

From a photograph to a sample swatch
The Sample Swatch Generator takes a material photograph and a brief description, then produces a flat, evenly lit representation of the surface.

The sequence in the guide
- Open the prepared agent.
- Upload a material photograph.
- Describe the surface you want.
- Review and download the swatch.
The guide uses examples to explain what to ask for and what to check in the result.

One reference, different drawing styles
The Style Reference Library brings together prompts and examples for exploring architectural drawing styles. The tutorial explains how to choose a style, supply an image and review the result.

The sequence in the guide
- Choose a drawing style.
- Upload the building reference.
- Add the prompt and generate.
- Check the geometry and save.
The intended subject stays the same while line, tone and colour change. Openings, proportions and edges still need a visual check.

The detail is still there when you need it
The original swatch document runs to 19 pages. The two quick guides offer a shorter entry point, while the source document keeps the longer explanation and examples available.

The examples / Zaha Hadid building reference
Keep the subject. Change the drawing.
I have brought the styles together around the supplied Zaha building reference so they are easier to compare. The fine-liner and green-wash studies were created for this page to match the two styles originally shown on houses.
The architecture is a reference for the drawing styles, not a building designed as part of this project. These are AI-generated visual studies; small geometric differences remain. The original PDF guides and videos have been kept as supplied.
A concrete example
Make the input and output visible
The original swatch material includes this timber example. Seeing the photograph beside the resulting sample helps explain the transformation more directly than a prompt on its own.
What this project adds
A concise way into each workflow: a PDF to refer back to and a short video to follow. The examples explain the process, while the original material remains available for the detail.
