Print Crop Engine

Digital print listings need the same artwork in every common frame size. The engine takes one image and writes the full set, from a full-resolution master to 24x36, A2, 16x20 and 5x7, at 300 DPI and the exact pixels each print needs.

Sizes with the same ratio share one crop, so the 16x20 and 8x10 always match. ADJUST moves that crop for the whole ratio group at once.

Bulk Image Resizer

Drop in images or whole folders, set the longest edge and the format, and every file is resized in one pass. DPI, EXIF and colour profiles carry across, nothing is upscaled unless you ask, and results go to a resized subfolder so the originals stay untouched.

Image Converter

Reference images arrive as AVIF and WebP from the web and HEIC from phones, which many design tools still won’t open. The converter batch-converts them to JPG or PNG, flattens transparency onto white for JPG and never overwrites an existing file.

Paste a post or reel link and the images or video are saved straight to a folder, ready to file as references. It set the design system the other apps share: Bahnschrift, black and #8697C4.

How they were made

Describe, generate, package, refine

Describe the chore

Each tool started as a repeated manual task, written up with the exact sizes, naming and folder behaviour it needed.

Generate with AI

The code was written through AI-assisted workflows in Python, with Pillow for images and Tkinter for the window.

Package it

PyInstaller packs each app into a single .exe with its own icon, so it runs on any Windows machine without a Python install.

Refine through use

The Print Crop Engine is on v5. Each version fixed something real use exposed: shared crops for same-ratio sizes, saving into the source folder, per-size checkboxes and centre-first cropping.

About these demos

The demos on this page are animations of each tool’s interface; they don’t process any files. For a Revit tool you can actually use, see the Door Builder replica.
